Setting: Multiple clinics in Rochester and Byron

Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday

Pay: $25.00 per hour



Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Know and follow all work related policies and procedures

  • Completes general cleaning and light maintenance of all assigned clinics: dust, vacuum, sweep daily of clients room, offices, and common areas, scrub and disinfect toilet fixtures and floors daily, remove trash, restock inventory, clean carpets.

  • Oversees inventory and supplies throughout the facility (order and stock supplies when necessary)

  • Conduct regular inspections of the building and grounds to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or repair issues, and report findings to the supervisor.

  • Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to ensure proper operation and longevity of facility systems and equipment.

  • Support minor facility improvement projects and coordinate with management or vendors when needed.

  • Perform repairs, including changing light bulbs, clearing clogged drains and toilets, maintaining custodial equipment, patch/paint walls and reporting repairs and safety hazards to supervisor.

  • Ensures a clean, neat, and orderly work area, cleans and maintains supplies, tools and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness of clinic grounds: pick up debris, remove garbage, remove snow from walkways and sidewalks.

  • Reports to and updates supervisor when work/ projects have been successfully completed.

  • Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions

  • Evaluate the previous year’s cleaning expenses and collaborate with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Experience in custodial work and general building maintenance preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures, tools, and repair techniques.

  • Ability to read and follow basic operating and safety instructions.

  • Basic computer skills, including Google Drive and supply ordering systems.

  • Ability to work independently and follow direction from a supervisor.

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.

  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.

  • Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilities.

  • Demonstrates reliability, accountability, and initiative.


Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.

  • Cell phone, copier, scanner, and other office equipment
